Dr. Ehrmann, Una, and the rest of the staff are excellent! Una did a great job with my cleaning and check-up. Dr. Ehrmann was thorough and took the time to explain everything clearly. The whole team made the visit easy and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Excellent Dentist! I’m a grown man with a huge fear & dislike of all dentists. They’re very patient with me & they constantly make sure I’m as comfortable as can be.

One of my molar fillings fell out and I was able to get an appointment in the same day. I was able to find parking right away and the office was nice and modern. The staff were very friendly and Dr. Kim did a wonderful job with my filling. Very pleasant dental visit and surprisingly affordable.

UPDATE FROM NOVEMBER: Followed-up with practice and Dental insurance Co. which accepted my appeal and paid their rate for work that was done. I checked-in with practice (as well as follow-up appointment) - BDC indicated they would be reimbursing me for the balance billed difference that was not part of their contract with my insurance. Still waiting on reimbursement, but as my previous review stated, while they do great work here, and all signs are they are a great practice, they need to work on their billing practices and communication (which is done out of another office apparently?) I updated my review to 4-stars (from 1) to reflect this and will definitely give 5-stars if I eventually get reimbursed for the improper billing the first time! UPDATE FROM SEPTEMBER: Wanted to include updated review as I promised to do so after receiving a "balance billing" note from this practice today. There are a few scattered reviews about how this works here, so I wanted to elaborate being that I have not seen this done so that others that are savvy to look for reviews that are not overwhelming positive can receive this important information. In short, BDC, as a network provider with my insurance company, the provider is required (in contract) to provide services in accordance with scheduled allowances and fees. This insurance was taken by the provider, referred by EmblemHealth's list of participating providers in-network as "100% covered services." For services in May, I needed additional work, and was presented with a disclosure (this is not allowed by their network contracts) that stated "I would pay an additional amount to the amount 'covered' by my insurance with the additional caveat that 'what they think the insurance covers does not match, then I am responsible for the difference.' Fast forward to September, I receive a bill from BDC stating the insurance company paid $161 (not true, they received almost $1k from my additional payment and primary and secondary carriers) that I got a "discount" and would owe over $1k+. According to NYS, Dental Insurance Companies, and Dental Board, this practice is balance billing - and illegal. The bill also stated, with a July print date, that I was over 90 days late in my payment, as if I should have any urgency to pay this practice? So I reported to NYS Department of Financial Services & Insurance regulators, as well as appealing to insurer (who states on their EOB and contract that "$0 is patient responsibility") - yesterday. What a terrible waste of my time and a complete money grab from their practice, but I'm hoping this review and explanation will help others avoid this time suck and financial burden. I cannot afford to pay thousands for basic restorative dental work. Adding to insult, I have full employer-coverage for it as part of my civil servant job, and dentists know this - I wouldn't even think they would just send a bill out like this! For context, I had a 4D xray done once, and it was not covered, which was true, and the dentist called me to negotiate the price immediately and make it work for my middle class family. I await their response and explanation, but judging by BDC just sending me a bill with zero details that made no sense, I don't expect a sufficient one, short of refunding my co-insurance I should have never been asked to pay. CUSTOMER BEWARE, and note how positive my review WAS, to what this ordeal has become. Often times things seem to good to be true, and they are ... --- REVIEW FROM MAY: I am not keen on changing dentists, but this establishment blew away my expectations. Great customer service, hygientist, affordable treatment and thorough exam met w insurance options and timely appointments.
